What is Mud Buddies?

Mud Buddies Perth is a nature sensory playgroup located in the North-East of Perth (Based in the Swan Valley and Noranda primarily). It is owned and run by a local mum (Hi, I’m Eve!) who has a toddler of her own and saw a need for a nature playgroup in the area.

What days do you run?

Currently we run on Mondays weekly during term, with various Pop Up sessions on Wednesday and Fridays.

What ages is this for?

Our sessions are aimed at children 0-5 years old (under 6 months old are free to attend!). We do use some food based sensory bases so mouthing of materials for those under 6 months is not recommended.

We are also able to cater for older age groups as we recognise that sensory play doesnt have an age limit!

How much do sessions cost?

Casual sessions are currently $23, with siblings able to be added for just $9. We offer term passes and flexible session passes which gives you a discounted rate too.

What happens in a session?

After checking you in at the desk, you and your little one are free to explore! We’re big believers in child led play, so let your child roam and explore the various stations. We try to cater to many different sensory preferences, but there will always be potion play, arts and crafts, dry and wet sensory and a quiet corner/baby mat. And please don’t stress about the mess- learning through messy nature play is the best way to learn! (and I’ve got clean up sorted for you!)

What should I bring?

Yourself and your little Mud Buddy is a fantastic start! In addition to that we’d recommend a change of clothes, and anything else you’d usually bring to the park (hat, sunscreen, snacks, water bottle). We do ask that you move away from the stations whilst eating just for allergy reasons!

What if I can no longer make a session?

I’m a parent myself and know that life happens! We’re happy to offer a full credit for any pass when more than 24 hours notice is given (via instagram, facebook or email). Credits can be put towards other sessions but are not refundable. With less than 24 hours notice we’re unfortunately unable to offer a refund or credit as preperations have been finalised, however please feel free to gift your session to a friend or contact me and I can pass it forward to another family on your behalf!
